In this area you will also find Punta Bonanza, a natural spectacle where the ocean has perforated the basaltic rock, sculpting strange forms known as the Bonanza rocks.

El Pinar:
It is a dense area covered with tall pine trees that descend to the sea.

La Restinga:
It is a small fishing village in front of which the volcanic cones rise up, it is surrounded by numerous basaltic organs. In the area there are several diving centres that organize outings to explore this spectacular marine area.

Taking the Valverde road in a south-westerly direction, after passing a bay with steep cliffs, you arrive at an ancient crater whose valley is covered with vines, bananas and pineapples.

In this area you can find the Mirador de la Peña, the Mirador de Jinama and the Mirador del Rincón; all of them offer fantastic views of the island.

In the caves of Tigaday you can see the basalt stalactites. While at La Sabinosa you can visit the sulphurous thermal station at the source of the well of La Salud (The Health).

This desert area rises in the southwest of the island, offering a peaceful view of the southern coast of Hierro.

Here you will find the Los Reyes hermitage, in honour of the Virgen de los Reyes, patron saint of the island.
