Paterna

Only 10 kilometres from the city centre of Valencia is the city of Paterna, the most outstanding monument being the Arabic tower, which is about fifteen metres high and a symbol of the city. From Paterna it is very easy to reach Manises, an important town in the manufacture of ceramics and which has the Ceramics Museum.

Sagunto

Sagunto is a city full of history and monuments of great historical and cultural value, and since it is located 30 kilometres from the centre of Valencia, it is well worth the trip. The site, which includes the imposing castle, is considered a National Monument. Very close to the site you will find the Roman Theatre, the Sangre Hermitage, the Jewish Quarter, the Temple of Diana, the Church of Santa María and the Roman Circus.

Gandía

Only 70 kilometres from the centre of Valencia separate this incredible fishing and sports town, a favourite destination for many for their summer holidays. Gandía has an old town of unique beauty and conservation, and a promenade and magnificent beaches. The Doge’s Palace is one of the most outstanding in the city, as well as the church of Santa María, the Town Hall building, the hospital of San Marcos and the Royal Monastery of Santa Clara. While the fine sand beaches adorn the coastline, including Nord beach, Venice beach and Varadero beach.
